The Chancellor's Scholarship is TCU's most competitive merit award and includes full tuition for eight semesters.

Renewal Requirements for Academic Scholarships

First-year level students must successfully complete 24 TCU hours with at 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA to renew for the upcoming year.

A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 is necessary for consideration although a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher on transferable academic coursework is generally required for admission. Every application will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Fraternity and Sorority Life at Texas Christian University began in 1955 when the first fraternity chapter was established. Almost seventy years and thousands of members later, the FSL community is thriving and now offers 40+ organizations and proudly represents over 50% of the undergraduate population.

Annual tuition will now be more than $61,000, an increase of about $4,520 annually for full-time undergraduates. TCU's website says the increase came "after careful consideration of economic factors, and it is necessary to maintain and advance TCU's standard of excellence in academics, student experience and services."

If money is an issue, TCU is very generous with their financial aid. The school has scholarships for almost any type of student.

Texas Christian University admissions has an acceptance rate of 56% and an early acceptance rate of 64.5%. Half the applicants admitted to TCU who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1140 and 1360 or an ACT score of 26 and 31.
